Vapor.com, a vaporizer and cannabis accessory retailer, is one of the many entities owned by Greenlane, their parent company. As a client of Future Holidays for some time, we worked closely with the Greenlane team to audit each of their brands and compile a list of priority technology updates and fixes.

Built on the foundation of a strong working relationship and team effort, the Greenlane team entrusted us to identify areas of opportunity within Vapor.com and lead the initiatives to fix or enhance many aspects of their site .

We quickly determined that a migration from Shopify 1.0 to 2.0 would allow for more website customization as well as increased site speed.

Their existing email flows, including the welcome flow, abandoned cart, and browse abandonment, were outdated and weren’t resonating with their audience like they hoped. We aimed to breathe new life into these flows and align them with the brand’s image.

As we migrated their website to Shopify 2.0, we focused on ways to save money and generate more revenue through email marketing.

The introduction of Klaviyo for automated email flows allowed for the Greenlane team to save upwards of 10% compared to the email platform they were previously using. We also leveraged our partner network to implement Rebuy, which adds a number of features to their site that were on the client’s wish list.

Their email flows received a full makeover including new designs that featured eye-catching visuals, captivating copy, and well-timed discounts to drive conversions. As a result, email revenue increased from an average of 11.8% to an average of 22.3%.

Greenlane relied on our team to work independently on revenue-generating ideas and implementing best practices on their website.
