A custom Shopify theme scaled for international success

DaVinci Vaporizers, part of the Greenlane cannabis family of brands, is a pioneer in creating the most tech-forward portable vaporizers on the market. Named after the famous Renaissance innovator, DaVinci’s mission has been “purity, innovation and control” since its founding.

The Ask

Greenlane wanted all of its subsidiaries to be under one Shopify roof, which prompted conversations about a site redesign and migration. With the DaVinci team tied up with other projects, the build would have to be fast and autonomous – our specialty. Additionally, a different version of the site would need to be displayed depending on where in the world you were browsing.

The Answer

Our team took on this ambitious project with a proactive mindset, migrating the site to Shopify from BigCommerce, including all products SKUs, loyalty and rewards points.
A custom theme was built from the ground up to reflect the high-end nature of their products. Additionally, the site was split into US, EU and Canada-based subsites, each which could be managed independently by their respective teams.

The Impact

The international websites supported various languages and currencies, and the migration of the loyalty and rewards points allowed for a seamless user experience even during an important transition period.
Some fundamental email flows created by our strategists allowed for DaVinci to kickoff successful marketing campaigns once the new site launched.
The DaVinci team entrusted us to make crucial updates with minimal oversight and in turn, we were able to deliver a website that stands out, yet compliments the other brands in their portfolio.
