Marketing Strategist

As a Marketing Strategist at Future Holidays, you’ll be in charge of managing every aspect of our clients’ email and SMS strategies. We’re looking for someone who’s driven by data, obsessed with understanding customers, and motivated to create programs that enhance retention, engagement, and brand loyalty for ecommerce brands. You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the marketing channel, including managing the marketing calendar, strategy, content creation, and the deployment of email and SMS campaigns, as well as A/B testing, measurement, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Implement best practices in email and retention programs, including automation, triggered campaigns, template development, dynamic content, personalization, and retargeting.
- Explore innovative ways to create a more personalized, omni-channel customer journey.
- Take ownership of your work and proactively offer creative solutions tailored to each client’s unique business goals and challenges.
- Use customer data and segmentation techniques to personalize communications and marketing campaigns, ensuring they’re relevant and effective.
- Oversee the customer journey, identifying opportunities to enhance touchpoints, drive engagement, and improve conversion rates.
- Analyze customer behavior, engagement patterns, and purchase history to provide actionable insights and make data-driven recommendations for improving customer retention and loyalty.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics, consumer behavior, and online trends, providing benchmarks and competitive analysis.
- Build and manage automated email and SMS marketing programs for our clients, ensuring accurate tracking and measurement.
- Continuously test, measure, and optimize the email marketing program using data.
- Deliver comprehensive reporting metrics, key learnings, and strategic recommendations to clients.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in email marketing strategy, production, and end-to-end campaign management.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with strategic copywriting, A/B testing practices, and the ability to draw conclusions from data and act on them.
- Hands-on experience with email platforms like Klaviyo, Hubspot, Braze, or similar.
- Experience with SMS marketing.
- Expertise in email best practices, including segmentation, deliverability, and design approaches.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email coding.
- Excellent communication, rapport-building, and presentation skills, with the ability to navigate challenging conversations.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

- Self-starter who can manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
