UX Designer
Future Holidays is a creative eCommerce agency dedicated to crafting high-converting DTC shopping experiences. We specialize in building standout Shopify sites, designing immersive user journeys, and leveraging data to drive real business growth. You’ll join a collaborative, fast-moving team that thrives on making design-driven impact for memorable online brands.
We’re looking for a talented and passionate UX Designer to elevate Shopify experiences from concept to launch. In this role, you’ll partner closely with our designers, strategists, and clients to build beautiful, user-centered digital experiences—using Figma, AI-powered design tools, and a data-first mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end UX/UI design for Shopify stores—from discovery and journey mapping to interactive prototypes and polished visual designs.
- Use data and analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, heatmaps) to inform design decisions, validate concepts, and drive conversion-focused improvements.
- Build and maintain design systems, UI kits, components, and style guides in Figma.
- Present designs, gather feedback, and iterate to align with user needs, brand identity, and conversion goals.
- Collaborate with developers by delivering clear design specs, documentation, and Figma files optimized for handoff.
- Extend design into promotional touchpoints—email templates, social assets, and campaign graphics—where needed.
- Champion accessibility, usability, and mobile-first design best practices.
- Leverage AI tools and emerging technology to accelerate design workflows and explore creative solutions.
- Collaborate on QA after launching new products to ensure final builds match high-fidelity designs and expected results.
- Be proactive in bringing fresh design ideas and creative concepts to client projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5+ years of experience designing Shopify-powered eCommerce experiences.
- 2+ years of experience working in an agency environment.
- A proven portfolio of Shopify builds that improved conversion or engagement.
- Advanced Figma skills: components, variants, design systems, and interactive prototyping.
- A data-informed approach to design—comfortable using analytics, A/B tests, and user research to shape and defend design decisions.
- Experience using AI design and productivity tools (e.g. Midjourney, ChatGPT, Figma AI, or similar) to enhance your workflow.
- A collaborative mindset and polished communication style that thrives in both team and client-facing settings.
- Familiarity with Shopify theme structure and platform constraints.
- A significant block of your working hours must overlap with 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST to support real-time collaboration with our team and clients.
- Bonus: Experience with CRO techniques and conversion optimization strategies.
- Bonus: Experience designing email campaigns (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar).
- Bonus: Experience with eCommerce UX frameworks and accessibility (WCAG).
