Future Holidays becomes MOPA corporate sponsor
We feel very strongly about supporting the arts community in San Diego. Museums are not only entertaining, but we believe they truly expand your cultural horizons and educate future generations.
For the second year in a row, Future Holidays is supporting MOPA (Museum of Photographic Arts) as a corporate sponsor.
Located in Balboa Park, MOPA is dedicated to the preservation and education of visual literacy. The museum houses several rotating photography exhibits, a library, theater, and hosts numerous events throughout the year.
Future Holidays first became a sponsor in 2020 after volunteering time to help refine their website and learning more about their mission. Founder Ryan Kodzik visited the museum as well and knew immediately he wanted to get his company involved in some way. Especially during the pandemic, when the museum had to close its doors, Kodzik knew that continuing to support MOPA would help sustain the arts until re-opening.
“I had originally worked with MOPA five years ago, and when I started Future Holidays, I knew I wanted to work with them again. We redesigned their site, and I decided to become a corporate sponsor as well. It’s the most modern, interesting, badass museum in Balboa Park and I’ve always gravitated towards it.”
– Ryan Kodzik, Founder of Future Holidays
Corporate sponsors allow for the museum to expand gallery space and bring in new exhibitions, host film festivals, workshops, and more. It’s one of only three museums in the nation dedicated to the “lens-based medium.”
“We are deeply grateful for the work that Ryan and his team at Future Holidays have done for the Museum of Photographic Arts. Because of their support, we have been able to expand our engagement opportunities with the communities we serve.”
– Deborah Klocho, Executive Director and Chief Curator at MOPA
MOPA is located in Balboa Park and is open to the public. Admission is free – donations are encouraged. To become a member, donate, or sponsor, visit their website.
