Email Marketing Specialist

We are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist for our team to help define customer segments, create and send brief email campaigns & automations, conduct A/B testing and analyze performance.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Define and drive email marketing strategy for our clients
  • Manage daily operations of the email marketing channel – marketing calendar, strategy and content, build and deployment of email campaigns, as well as the A/B testing, measurement and reporting
  • Build and manage automated email marketing programs for our clients and ensure end-to-end tracking and proper measurement
  • Collaborate with the Creative team to determine to ensure brand guidelines are followed in emails
  • Report and provide recommendations on the email program performance monthly
  • Use data to continuously test, measure and optimize the email marketing program
  • Partner and collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, social media, content and creative teams
  • Support promotional calendars for weekly email strategy
  • Develop ongoing A/B testing pipeline & report/analyze performance.
  • Track campaign effectiveness and optimize results
  • Support Segmentation matrices and facilitate execution of marketing campaigns
  • Support in optimizing all campaigns by testing subject lines, creative, copy, send time, etc.
  • Support development of testing plans, report results, and provide recommendations
  • QA content, linking, segmentation, etc.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience with email platforms such as Klaviyo & MailChimp.
  • Experience using Klaviyo required
  • Expertise in email best practices, including segmentation, deliverability, copy and design approaches.
  • Strong analytical and strategic copywriting skills, understanding of A/B testing practices, ability to draw conclusions from data and take action accordingly

  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing role required
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing strategy and implementation
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email coding
  • Proficient with Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva
